Marmite roasted chickpeas

You'll either love them or you'll hate them I'm afraid.

You can roast them with anything really, last week I had them with honey and ground mixed spice but thought I'd mix it up a bit this week and go for marmite. They're really crunchy and taste like Twiglets, and should last for a few days in an airtight container.

Ingredients
1/2 can chickpeas (you can do the other half another day/another flavour)
Marmite
Method
  1. Preheat oven to 200 degrees
  2. Drain the chickpeas as much as possible then scatter onto a tray.
  3. Roast for about 15 minutes, then give the tray a shake to turn them over and roast for a further 15.
  4. Add a good dollop of marmite and spread around the chickpeas.
  5. Roast for a further 10 minutes, then leave to cool on the surface before breaking them up (it's likely they'll have all stuck together)

Follow the same method but replace the marmite with honey and mixed spice for a sweeter treat!
